Preventing and limiting distress of a cancer diagnosis with the Life House
LifeFullness helps people diagnosed with cancer re-organize and settle their thoughts, questions and feelings into their personal Life House.
The Life House is a representation of the different themes in a patient’s life, structured into ‘rooms’ to visit together with a personal coach.

Restoring balance
Cancer impacts the physical body, diet and daily energy. But it also seeps into relationships, family life and personal thoughts.
The Life House helps to restore balance to a life impacted by chronic illness. How to cherish and hold on to some aspects. How to learn to say goodbye to others.
The structure of the Life House provides a solid foundation for a patient's journey, within and beyond their illness.
How does the Life House support people diagnosed with cancer?
Cancer doesn’t just spread through one’s body. It pervades one’s life in much the same way.
Stress, lacking energy, difficult questions and emotions can make life with cancer a tale about surviving, rather than thriving.
The Life House, with its thematic rooms representing the areas of a patient’s life, divides the impact of cancer into smaller, manageable sections.
Tackling each section at a time allows a patient to organize and settle their thoughts and restore a sense of balance.

Bringing together the team
The workgroup consists of 6-8 participants of the most important stakeholders.
This means the project team, the end users and, potentially, externals such as ethicists and healthcare professionals.
Game Ready Workshop
Together with the team of stakeholders, we
- define our goals and design criteria
- come up with ideas
- draft the first prototype
in a day-long creative workshop.
Development & testing
A prototype becomes a MVP, shaped by choices made with the whole team.
Development is an iterative process: we build, test and apply our learnings to the next round.
Implementation
The finished product is implemented and ready for use.
We provide training to ensure long-term use and enjoyment of the product.
